Hello folks, been a while since I have visited here, but I haven't forgotten you all. There is a story in our local paper about 2 pilots who helped save a dogs life by arranging to have her flown across the U.S. for treatment. Thought some might like to read an uplifting story, go to medina-gazette.com and you will see it there, Hope al is well with everyone, Paws Up , Spirit Gus and Dan
My buddy Gus had a left front amputation on April 7, 2010 and lived a great life until July 26,2010
I love the last paragraph of the story - sums everything up pawfectly.
Wyatt - non cancer Tripawd
~ missing front left paw ~
10 pounds and bulletproof!
That last paragraph is definitely right on the nose.
And, yeah, I thought right away that she looks like beautiful Rosie!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!
Oh boy, now I really feel bad, I don't know if I know who Rosie is, guess I've been away longer than I thought, shame on me. Karen, that would be really cool if it worked out you actually met Ginger and had a part in finding her a home, I'll try to follow up on this one,

Here is Hurricane Rosie's blog.
Don't feel bad Dan- Rosie is mostly a blog monster, but she does post in the forums sometimes. She is not a cancer dog, I think she had a deformed front leg that was amped.
Check out her blog- I am jealous of all the adventures Rosie and her pack go on!!
