Mom has made a great day for me, we are laughing and playing and rocking out to AC/DC back in black… ooOOOO, let loose, escape the noose!!!!  11 months ago today my mom and dad were freaking out, crying, praying that I would live through the surgery.

Today, 11 months later, we laugh, we play, we live laughingsmile  Dad is coming home today to celebrate after 5 months on the road, a couple of pit stops home but mostly gone.  He is coming home to be with me today!!!

We will barbeque tonight, good times with my family and thinking about all of my friends.  Thanks for being here for us and we will tip one up for you, mine will be a chicken leglaughinglaughing

It's great that Dad was able to be there for the celebration. I know that must have made your Mom extra happy. And rocking to AC/DC....very nice. I hope you didn't forget to invite ZZ Top.

Hooray Sammy! Enjoy the BBQ. Hope you get 2nds and 3rds and 4ths!

Abby (and Jackie)

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

Congrats Sammy!  We remember when we reached 11 months, it seemed like an impossible dream when we started.  We hope that you have many more months in the future.

OH NO!  I missed this yesterday!  That's okay, because it's worth celebrating ALL WEEKEND!

Sammy we are so happy for you and so happy that your daddy will be with you!  We know it's been tough on all of you without him so this is an extra special celebration!  Your mommy and daddy love you so much and really that's all that matters!  I'll take the "extra lovins" over a treat any day!  But hey, if you are getting both....well - it doesn't get any better!!!!

So here's to extra lovins and BBQ's!

Happy Ampuversary our dear Sammy!
