Sahana-
Laughing over here! I have always had two dogs. One always eats poop. Dog, cat, skunk, rabbit. Currently Logan has grown out of the habit, and Toby has started. I have tried the hot sauce in the past- didn't work. I now let both out- keep Toby busy- kicking the soccer ball ( yeah that is so fun at 6AM) and keep an eye on Logan. I usually scoop after Logan does her business- keeping Toby at bay by waving the pooper scooper at him until I am done. Glad my neighbors can't see me (it ain't pretty lol). I know it is gross but try not to stress over it. "It is what it is"
Hey - at least he isn't rolling in it! Shelby, the vile beast that she was, would ROLL in stinky stuff... poop usually. Instant bath.
I always knew when she would slink down slowly to position herself in the right spot and then just roll.... She was slow enough to get the right spot but fast enough to prevent me from fully pulling her off.... Gross

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
I so enjoyed reading other's experiences with this gross habit...
Thank goodness Lucian is not the only furkid out there with this nasty issue. I think I would totally be beside myself if he was getting into horse and cow poo...thank goodness we don't have farm animals...
Hubby just brought Lucian in a bit ago and said he found another pile of kitty poop (not that nicely said however) but got him before he got any in his mouth. That pup sure has a nose for finding this bizarre delicacy...

May you finally be healthy and running free at the Rainbow Bridge. Until we meet again my sweet boy!
Nope, he's definitely not the only one. To us it's disgusting, to them it's pure heaven. This is when it's REALLY hard to Be More Dog !

OMG . . . people are walking by my office wondering why I'm laughing hysterically at my monitor!
Okay, the hub-a-dub made me promise not to say anything, but Harmony used to "follow" Melody around on her potty breaks, if you know what I mean.
Melody, on the other hand, her first year as a puppy, pooped pieces of the ADT sign for 2 weeks. We're still finding pieces.
Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

Eeeewwwwww!!!!!!
And Melody, how tasty could that sign be? Crazy!
Here's one for ya: Earlier this summer Wyatt Ray ate his treat bag. Literally. Treats. Bag. Everything. We had daily reminders for about a week.

LMBO!!!
I guess in Harmony's mind, following Melody was like a kid following the ice cream truck hoping for hand outs!
The remnants of a good meal....ahhhh....the bliss of being Wyatt. Ray!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Not too long ago I was at the vets and a client told me that these toys there were the best ever, totally indestructible. So I bought Hank a turkey that had a wattle that when squeezed would roll out. It was not long before the wattle disappeared from the turkey and reappeared in his poop still all rolled up. So much for great toys
