Our local news channel(Bozeman MT) is doing a piece tomorrow night on a tripawd with arthritis and the advancements in veterinary medicine that are helping. I will post the link after they show it on the 10 pm news. Always great to see the word getting out there!

Hi to everyone! I've been busy with our new puppy and new horse plus year end with work so was MIA. Been missing the group and hope to get back here more often now.

Luanne and Team Shooter

Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.

Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Here is the link:

What a great advancement for any dog with this type of arthritis. If the link doesn't work just go to kbzk.com and you should be able to find it.

Hey!!! That's Murphy's doctor! He did all eight of Murph's surgeries, including the total hip replacement. Murphy's THR was the fourth one he had done on a Tripawd. Great guy and a wonderful doctor.

Kathi and Murphy

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
