I have a few videos of Franklin... and I can't seem to load it for some reason in his blog.. but I thought I would load one here that makes me smile....

I chuckle when I look back and see all those throw rugs on the floor.  They are still there!  Maggie needs them now..

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012.  Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013.  Always in my heart, and always a guardian angel of my pack...   You can follow his Tripawd Adventures, before and after, in my blog, Frank'n'Farter!

Thanks for sharing Christine- such patient pups!

That's funny about the throw rugs.  I have a tile floor in the kitchen and I had a few rugs for tripug Maggie, but she navigated OK on the tile.  Now with her 'little' sis Tani being 14 the kitchen is covered in throw rugs!

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

Oh, I love when they are walking into the house together. Those 2 backsides. I am thinking of buying stock in a rug company. problem is, I buy all mine at outlet stores. They are also great for just shaking the dirt out the door. Thanks for the smile today!! hugs from, Lori and TY

:-) Adorable ....

We had carpet so we didn't need rugs but since I have hardwood floors now ... I am sure at some point, rugs will be a great investment to help Jasper navigate!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Awww I love it.  That made me smile.  Still have our kitchen floor covered with 3 huge rugs.  That made Sassy able to navigate.  I have carpet everywhere else

That was so sweet to watch Christine, thanks for the flashback. They both look so hoppy.

Did you buy up your local supply of that one style of throw rugs?! ;) Ours are all mismatched. It's amazing what a difference throw rugs make for any dog who has a few challenges getting around, especially senior dogs. Most people don't think about that, let's start a campaign for slippery floor awareness!
