Hello TriPawds family!
I haven't been very active but please know that I hold all of you very near in my heart.
Today marks one year that our sweet Boone earned his wings. He was a tripawd just 7 short weeks before being called home...I appreciated all of the love and support from my TriPawds family during that time, and after he left us.
I posted a tribute to him over on his blog today, along with some of my favorite pictures of him. And of course his earthly sidekick that reminds us that it's OK for life to go on.

It's sooo hard ro believe it's been a year since he headed to the Bridge. ONE YEAR ANGELVERSERY means he's been back on all four now for a year!! Gonna go over and find his blog.
Really glad you came back and posted. As yiu know, we all fell in love with da' Boone
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I followed Boone's story closely, and felt sorrow when he left you so soon. How great to read your blogpost of today with these sweet memories and tales of your new pup, clearly inspired by Boone. Now that our Lucy has been gone for almost three months, I can begin to imagine the day when she might have to give advice to one or two new dogs...Best wishes to you.
I cannot believe it has been a year since we all had to say farewell to your sweet Boone. Probably my own denial of the time passed since Pofi left us. I am glad you have checked in and will go read your tribute blog.

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Jeanette,
It never ceases to amaze me when these first angel-versarys happen. Wow. Thank you for inviting us to be part of your anniversary milestone. Your blog post is so bittersweet when remembering Boone, and yet so full of hope with all of Tuck's antics. Just goes to show you that pets and heart dogs like Boone really do bring so much love into our world. Even in doggie heaven, your handsome boy is making all of us smile. What a gift.
