I can't believe that one year ago I was sitting at this very same desk scared over the surgery that Salem was going to have the following day. I remember sitting up all night after work with a wonderful crew from this site and knowing I was making the right decision!
While my little bub didn't stay physically with me much longer, his influence and strength not only gave me courage, but gave me all of you!

I feel exactly the same as you. Bless you and your Angel Salem. I know exactly what you mean, the loss leaves such a huge hole in our hearts, but then we've got all these wonderful friends we gained during our tribulations.

Salem Bynx was a very handsome kitty for sure, he reminds me of my first rescue kitty Ruthie who was also all black, ......I lost her in 2012, but she had many happy years with us.
Yes, that heartache seems to go on forever when we lose our beloved Tripawds....the one positive thing I always try to remember, is how much our lives were truly enriched by having these sweet, precious, very loved pups and kitties in our lives. Their love for us, and ours for them, will live eternally within our hearts, as well as the many, many very happy times we shared with them. Always.
Keeping you and your Angel Salem Bynx in my thoughts today, and best wishes ahead for your new love in your life,

I remember how quickly Salem sent him to you! He knew you both needed each other...no ifs,a ds, or buts!! Dodger? Is that right? I think I recall ou naming him that!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Such a beautiful picture of you with your precious boy. I know how it helps to fill the whole our beloved Tripawds leave when they can no longer physically stay with us but have to move on to the Bridge. They do help with the grief and the healing of our hearts but they will never replace our precious Tripawd.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Kendi, sending more warm thoughts to you. Our Roxie went over the Bridge 3 months ahead of Salem Bynx; the time just flies by and yet stands still. We keep them all close in our hearts and memories. The picture is lovely. I recall the new kid being Dodger, too; he's a very lucky boy to have found you!

Today is the actual day that he left. I'm sitting here at work, finding it hard to focus. Thank you for all of the lovely posts. I just now saw them all. I have spent the last week being very busy. I have started volunteering at a local cat shelter here in my home town. I am currently working on making beds for all of them in Salem's honor.
