In the pile of bills in the mail tonight, a HANDWRITTEN note from my beloved HAPPY HANNAH...from the BRIDGE!!! It was to me with the return address:
HAPPY HANNAH
1 Happy Hannah Lane
Rainbow Bridge, Heaven
Trust me, I'm a complete total pile of mush with tears slobbering all down my face!
Clearly, an Anonymous Earh Angel helped her write it! I have noooo doubt that this beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Earth Angel has a beloved dog at the Bridge who was right beside Happy Hannah's side to help her hold the pen with her chunky paw.
Just to add another "layer of connection" to this heartfelt act of helping Happy Hannah with this letter, is the fact that Happy Hannah's amputation was on the same day her letter was post.marked, February, 2013. I try not to "remember" some of these kinds of dates, even though I always "know". Needless to say, like everyone who stays here, we remember these "dates" over and over when new members share the same month, week or day for a variety of "versaries"...happy or sad. Because of this incredibly kind Earth Angel who helped Happy Hannah send this note, it adds a lot of happiness to "that" date!
You'll see from the letter, but she gets PAID for doing "Meet and Greet" duties!!!! I've always envisioned her being part of the "welcoming" committee! Along with so many wonderful Angels, I envisioned her welcome wagon overflowing with steak and ice cream, cupcakes, chocolate, M&Ms and deer poop!!! PROOF RIGHT HERE IN THE LETTER!!!!
When many of you were getting coins from your Angels, I wasn't getting any because, bless her heart, she was saving them up for me!!!
I CANNOT EVER, EVER, EVER adequately express my gratitude for this beautiful soul who helped with the letter and EVERY SINGLE BEAUTIFUL SOUL here who has touched me so deeply with their love, your compassion, your humanity.
So my little Earth Angel, just know you have illuminated my world with your generosity of spirit! I mean it! I'm glowing with light right now! I shall frame this and place it next to all the special momentos I have for my Happy Hannah.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That is very sweet of that Angel that helped Hannah write that letter. I am sure that card will make a great addition to your collection and everything that is Hannah's 🙂

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

WOW... goosebumps! What an amazing and kind and loving earth angel to help Miss Happy Hannah like that!!! That is so wonderful. Talk about happy tears of joy here. What a lovely message she wrote to you.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Tears here, too. You sooo deserve this, Sally. We just knew that sooner or later Hannah would contact you! And what a PERFECT job they found for her! They could never have found anyone better.
Way to go, Hannah! You knew what it would take to make your Mama very happy.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

I also got goosebumps when you mentioned the postmark date. Obviously Happy Hannah's influence goes as far as the US Postal System! And how can it not, with the kind of sweet, loving soul that the is? And that her MOMMA is too. Of course the leaf (or deer poop?) didn't fall far from the tree. She's definitely your girl.
This community is so kind and caring, compassionate and thoughtful, better than anything we ever dreamed it would become. Every day we are amazed by the love that flows across the miles among people who have never even met in person.

It really makes me smile to think of my Ellie getting greeted by Happy Hannah. I picture Hannah running around showing Ellie all the best places and telling her how much she'll like it in doggie Heaven. Poor Ellie never made many doggie friends in her time here on Earth, but I bet Hannah is everyone's friend, just like her Mom.
Active 10+ Pyr mix suddenly came up lame with ACL tear in left rear leg. Scheduled for a TPLO but final pre-op x-rays indicated a small suspicious area, possibly OSA, which could have caused the ACL tear. Surgeon opened the knee for TPLO but found soft bone. Biopsy came back positive for OSA. Became a Tripawd 9/18/14. Carbo6 with Cerenia and Fluids. Pain free and living in the moment. Crossed the Bridge on 7/12/15 after probable spread of cancer to her cervical spine. A whole lifetime of memories squeezed into 10 months. Here's her story: Eloise

Oh Sally, I can't even form words right now...... I was reading Happy Hannah's letter to you, out loud to my daughter, and just cried all the way through it...... How incredibly sweet and thoughtful of your mailman to go to the Bridge to pick up this very special gift to you from Hannah. Someone must have pulled a lot of strings to have your mailman/lady get that letter and bring it back for you..... Just goes to show that you are so loved by so many, not only do you have heavenly angels looking out for you, you also have earthly angels too 💜
I just know Happy Hannah is an awesome greeter at the Bridge, and I am pretty sure that my Polly, and Elizabeth's Jake, and Claudia's Jersey Girl, and one or two more were there to welcome her and turned their duties over to her on a permanent basis..... She is like her mom, there for anyone and everyone no matter what, and full of love and joy 🐾

Echoing everyone - what a beautiful letter. It makes me smile to think that while Happy Hannah is up there taking care of all the Tripawds on their new journeys, Sally is down here helping all the new Tripawds' parents on theirs.
My Dear Earth Angel Postman/woman, Linda, Bonnie, Denise, Lith, Michelle, Donna, Rene, Michelle, Deb, Martha, kathi, Alison, Sarah!
This journey has so many different forms of tears...tears of happiness,...tears of heart break...tears of relief...tears that celebrate....tears of laughter.
And then there are the tears that I have had ever since this loving Earth Angel helped Happy Hannah get me her letter. And there are the tears that flow when reading every kind and loving response from each of you who shared in my joy while reading Happy Hannah's letter.
I'm searching for words to express what you each mean to me....I'm searching to find a way to define these tears of gratitude, these tears that flow from feeling so loved, and these tears that flow from being so touched from your kind words. I fail miserably!! Surely there are little emoticons (I think that's what they're called) out there that can express feelings from deep within our hearts! I wish I could find them! The Admin Guy would only let me print five though
She is having sooooo much fun!!! She's having a blast with gentle Rotties, fashionista bling girl, gentle Lab with Soulful eyes, fluffy large paw Pyrenees, German Shepherds, lots of German Shepherds, pancake eating black and yellow dog pals, dogs with blue eyes! Can you imagine how much fun they are having healthy, fit and watching over us laughing at all the silly dogs they have sent us...or will send!!? And ro know they are watching over all the amazing dogs like Murphy and DC Jack who are still fighting the good fight on three legs....yeah, all's good at the Bridge!!
I've said it before, and I mean it every time,you, each of you, are the best humanity has to offer. Thank you for allowing me to share this journey with you. Thank you for loving me and for loving my Happy Hannah. I wish I had Bonnie's purple hearts to place here!!

She certainly was loved, as are you Sally! This is precious, just precious! The postmark is a sign if I ever saw one. I can just see her doing her meet and greet and then running over to raid the M & M bowl. Hugs, Lori, TY & Gang
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
