Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

His main objective right now is to beat us to any and all of the little wormy apples that fall off the trees. We are in the process of stripping them all off. I didn't spray this year since the squirrels only left us three apples last year.
He has already picked two hot peppers, and we caught him eyeing the tomatoes. Both of those beds have been fenced in. I guess I won't be needing to buy extra fence for the bean patch. Murphy would be sorely disappointed!

I LOOOOVE THIS VIDEO!!! He's like "No waaaaay I'm eating that thing! No matter how many times you try to make me, I'm not eating it!" He actually seems to laughing...thinking this is some fun game he and Dad are playing!
I have a little different take on why hes committed to NOT eatingnthe green bean. I think Murphy told him..."Okay, I'll go ahead and send you to my favorite humans in the whole world....but don't you dare touch MY green beans! They are MINE! You can eat anything else my humans grow, but keep your paws off my green beans!"
We have to have video of him going after the apples! Guess he and the squirrels,and the worms, will have to work out sharing! What a character!
Ollie, you make us all smile! I KNOW you are bringing joy and laughter back into their household. Good job handsomenboy! BTW, I love your little white "socks" on your paws.
