Spirit Brownie & Nancy kindlymoffered to put together a little "family album" of my dogs for me. I, of course, agreed with immense appreciation dor the gesture. I did just say we would ,aybe focus on Bib and Nellie since they aren't on the Tripawds site like Frankie and Myrtle. After all, this was just a little personal sacred treasure I would have.
Of course Nancy being Nancy, said to go ahead and send some pics in of Frankie & Myrtle. That, of course, gave me the excuse I used to post jere!!! That and I wa ted to share what a huge, giving heart Nancy has. We are so glad Brow ie sent her to us❤❤❤
I adopted Bob and Nellie at same time in 2013. I went to get a "aenior" dog to give that dog a good life for whatever time left. Of course, I walked out with two dog. They instantly bonded. And they clearly decided they wanted to hang around for a long time!! Bob crossed over last year and Nelloe will be joining him in the near future. So this really is so nice to be able to share a bit of joy and happiness with you.
Oh, mone more thing. In my head, I wanted a particular song k the background, but never mentioned it to Nancy. Appare tly Brownie did though!
THANK YOU NANACY AND SAINT BROWNIE❤
Love,
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie AND Bob and Nellie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
What a beautiful video of all your babies! Nancy, this is an incredible gift! Sally - you were truly blessed with the pups in your life! Stacy
Griffin lived an amazing life for 11 years! Diagnosed with osteosarcoma on March 17, 2020, Griffin's right forelimb was amputated on April 2, 2020. Ten days later he was running and playing fetch! Lung metastasis discovered in July 2020 did not slow down Griffin and he lived joyfully for the next 7 months, passing peacefully at home on February 11, 2021. https://griffin.tripawds.com
Awwwww applawse! applawse!
Nancy that is such a sweet, generous thing to do, what a treasure! I'm so glad we got this glimpse into Bob and Nellie's life. They always so kindly stepped out of the limelight for Frankie, Myrtle and Hannah. It's very sweet so see their relationship and all the fun they had together before Bob got his wings. That Nellie has sure aged so well, and done a good job with longevity hasn't she? Wow! Thank you both for sharing those good times with us.
Sally, you can always feel free to tell more about your non-Tripawd fur kids here OK? I mean sure they're "odd" with that spare leg and all but we love them just the same Heh heh!
Thanks again Spirit Brownie, Nancy, and you too Sally for sharing them with us.

Sally, I am so happy you like it. I was happy to do it. It was a small way to show you how much I appreciate all the support you have given me, and still do. The support you give everyone in this community. You are definitely an asset to the Tripawd Family!
I can not believe, when I was making the video, I kept wondering if you would like the song. And the whole time you had that song in your head. That is just plain freaky! It is easy to see in the photos what a wonderful life Bob and Hannah had, and what a wonderful life Nellie, Frankie, and Myrtle have! I had fun making it, and it did help me get my mind off of things.
My Beautiful Beloved Brownie was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma on February 26, 2019. With all odds against him he lived an additional one year and eight days with amputation, love, and prayer. I was honored to be his mom, and I have never been so proud! He will live forever in my Heart!

Right rear leg amp 7/12/16 due to OSA. Metastatic lesion on her right front leg, January 2017. Joined the Winter Warriors January 19, 2017. Run free my sweet girl.
I thought this was a good place to honor my Nellie who I had to send to the Bridge a few days ago. I knew when Nancy made this beautiful video her time for release would be coming. Dementia, old age, arthritis, incontinence (which I could care less about), kidney issues, weakness so severe she mostly couldn't get up anymore without me helping, which I gladly did. Quality not there. Nellie not able to be Nellie at all...except for eating...she always ate, but that was her only "joy" anymore. At home either Vet helped eatcing chicken, frosted cookies with sprinkles, just to name a few.
At least fifteen (we picked each other seven years ago and supposedly she was a senior then. I wanted a senior dog, probably a black dog, because they are usually hard to find homes for. Apparently she was a "street" dog amd had been a mom probably several times.
And on the way out of the shelter, a timid hunting hound dawg with a big smile jumped up on the cage. So Nellie picked Bob, Bob picked Nellie, I picked Bob and Bob picked me!! They happily sat in the back seat knowing we were already a family, a pack.
Bob and Nellie were BFF's instantly. This was right before Happy Hannah was diagnosed. She was instant friends with them too.
Gentle, OMD, such a gentle Soul💖 You would look into her eyes and just melt at all the goodness you saw in them.
I think she is sich a beautiful example of how gorgeous dogs are as they age with their gray frosty mugs. Aich a symbol of the grace their heart holds within that only aging can bring.
So Bob definitely was there to welcome her back home. She saw my face smile at her and a picture of Bob in front of her as she headed to him💖
So just a couple.more pics to add to the lovely video Nancy and Brownie pit together. Sooooo lucky to have that treasure💖

Oh Sally, I am so sorry to hear about Nellie. I could tell when making the video how special she was, and how close her and Bob were. It was a wonderful thing you did to give two seniors a home. And I am positive the second part or their life with you was the best part! I could tell by the photos that on and Nellie adored you, as you did them.
I hope you find comfort knowing that Bob and Nellie are walking side by side again just like in the photo.
As Jackie said rescues are the best. There is an old saying "The best breed is a rescue". But we all quickly learned they rescued us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You know how to contact me.
