Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Great job Sally, Merry Myrtle & Frankie. The girls Snickers & Jazz don't even do that. Amazing

I love how Merry Myrtle has her paw over Frankie's remaining front leg. I think I also saw this in a previous photo. Merry Myrtle is ensuring the remaining leg doesn't go missing. How sweet and caring she is.

This is priceless!! Not happening in my house. Just yesterday, Lucy kept bugging me because she thought Chan had the only antler in the house. The other ones were under his butt. A big comfy bed, a bone and a warm woodstove. Life is good! Hugs from ,Lori, Ty, C, L, and Daryl
TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. I loved watching the videos of Myrtle and Frankie. Myrtle has definitely accepted Frankie into the fold and seems to be protective of him with how she keeps a paw on him.
Totally precious...and yes the world could learn a thing or two from Merry Mrytle and Frankie!

I'm so sorry to just now be reading this!!! Things have been a bit crazy around here as my father suffered a major stroke on the 4th. The girls don't know what to think as we've been in-and-out of the house like crazy humans do. Thank goodness it's warm enough for them to stay outside when we're gone so they can play "cops and robbers".
I promise, as soon as things settle a bit I'll try to get that video for you!

Oh Pam!! So sorry you are going through these challenges!! So sorry.
One thing I believe to be true ks that the Soul ALWAYS hears a d js ALWAYS able to feel loving energy. So, IF it aplears your Dad is in an altered state and doesn't appear to be communicating well, he can ALWAYS hear you tell him you love him and tell him what's going on with "the girls"!!
