Happy grandma here. After almost 10 months after loosing our sweet boy Max my son Bob is finally ready to move forward. He sent in a deposit on a black and red German Sheperd puppy. Puppies were born on Oct 30th. We will have to drive to northeast MO (about 367 miles one way) on Dec 27th to pick him up. I'm so glad Bob is ready he is such a great doggie daddy. I haven't seen him this excited in a long time. And......guess who will be puppy sitting when Bobs at work? Yup me 😀 It just makes no sense for puppy to sit alone in a kennel all by himself when Riley and I are available to give him TLC all day does it? LOL. Anyway just wanted to share this with all my family here. You were with me through the hopeful times and then the worst times and now I hope to share some good times with you as well. Love you all!
Linda, Riley & Spirits Mighty Max & Ollie
PS. The way I figure I've got about 6 weeks to learn how to post a picture. Wish me luck 😳
Wheeeeeee! Oh Linda congrats on being a Gramma again! We are more than hoppy to help you share photos of the lucky pup, just holler!

A Christmas/New Years' puppy! That is a great gift!

Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

alison with spirit shelby in her heart (and little jasper too)
Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.
October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Wow tons of good omens here with my tripawd family. Puppy will have a lot in common with many gotcha stars here. 🐾❤️. LOL Michelle I already looked up to see how far we were from you. Unfortunately we will just be over the state line. Puppies are in LaGrange, MO which I think is pretty far from you, but it was my first thought too. Was hoping it was close to where you are too. We are getting puppy from Kathys Classic K9s web site is germandogs.net I believe. She has pictures at one and two weeks of puppies although they are still pretty little now. Bob has fourth pick from Ava & Rugers pairing so we won't know which one is ours until that day. Thanks guys I appreciate your support so much!
Yeah! Can't wait to see pictures of the new grand pup!

So happy for Bob (and you and Riley)! Nothing lifts the spirits like a puppy, I'm glad Bob is ready to love again. Is he busy thinking of names? Boy or girl? How exciting!

Sooo very happy for you all! We got a new Saint Puppy in April and she truly has been a joy:) After losing Teddy Bear in December last year and Patchy having his amputation it has truly been a joy to have a wonderful new life to make memories with. We cherish every minute with her! Many people have said they would never have a puppy again but we are truly enjoying every minute! I actually wouldn't mind having another one soon! 🙂 Enjoy your new baby! Can't wait to see pictures!

Thanks so much Rene for posting the picture. Today is day 4 of puppy sitting. WOW I forgot what a bundle of energy puppies are. Both Riley and I are sure getting our own exercise in. Lots of outside time with Riley playing keep a way with big sticks. This is like having a full time job again 😀 But I'm loving it. Max and Ollie are probably sitting at the bridge rolling with laughter saying "look at mom running her butt off". So thank you Max and Ollie for paw picking this little love bug/demon for us.
Too cute! He looks so cuddly. Just want to scoop him right up!
