I was in a little gift shop while at the beach and saw a sign like this. I did not buy it, as I was not quite sure that it would fit on Ty's shelf. by that evening, I was sick to my stomach. We were leaving for home early the next morning and I knew my husband would think I was crazy if I drove 20 some miles to pick up a sign. It was at a flea mkt. that is only open Sat. and Sun. I would have had to drive there hoping to make it that evening. I found a lot of pennies and a few dimes while there and I could not get out of my head that this was a sign from my boy and I had ignored it. So...I got online. The signs were no longer available, but lo and behold A Coffee mug!! I LOVE coffee! It makes a nice addition to his little display. Lori and TY

OMG ... that is SO perfect for you! Love it!!!

I can't really read what the sign says but I love the mug. I also love coffee... can't make it a morning w/out it.

Dimes and pennies .... Ty is always with you! He misses you too and he's got lots of shoes over the bridge!

XO

much love,

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh, that is his urn with his ashes in it. Just looks like a sign. It says his name and run free my boy, don't forget a shoe.

OHHHHHH. YEAH.....now that's what you call a "no doubt about it sign" from TY!!! And the fact that it stayed with you...you couldn't shake it...you KNEW you had to have it! And yet, the "it" was the coffe mug all along!!!!

I JUST LOVE THIS!!!

Ty's tribute shelf is lovely. His pictures...the little "comment" on his ashes box.....perfect!!!

Notice h ow many times all.of us use the word PERFECT? Hmmmmm......must be true!!!

Sending love to you my friend.

Perfect is the word! I love it. I too have a begun a tribite shelf for my Jake. I have the mahogany box with his ashes and picture ( which I speak to all the time). I securred his collar with tags around it. He just sits there smiling at me. I have not yet embelished/painted his foot print...I want to be in the right frame of mind to do it justice.  Question???? I have a canning jar with his ROCKS, no don't think crazy. The rocks are what he ate as a puppy #1- caused an obstruction and he needed surgical intervention. #2- He got while wearing a basket muzzle to prevent it, was able to be passed with an enema given by the vet and I had to walk him around a park ina snow storm untill he passed it. Do you think that is over the top?  I think it is a great memory lol  It kind of tells the story of his crazy, happy life.  Ask my kids what keepsakes I have of them, my eldest has a 3/4 complete baby book, the second is about 1/8 done. Oh well it is our pets that give us conditional love!

Thank you for sharing such a great little snippet of Jake's life! I CANNOT wipe the smile off my face visualizing this whole saga!!!

Now, if you ATE the rocks to try and become "one" with Jake's rocks.....yeah....that may be a little over the top......or not!clap

Look forward to seeing his shelf!

Lori,

That mug is PRICELESS!!!  From the sound of things it fits your Ty to a T...(trying to use other words besides "perfect" lol)!

I'm so happy that you listened to what Ty was trying to get through to you.

And Ty's memory shelf is just beautiful!
