Wishing all our Angels, Warriors, Spirits, Guardians, and all our earth furbuddys a very special Halloween.
Not quite the same without Tahoe barking and greeting everyone at the door. Ahhh, another milestone adjustment ...
Be safe everyone and have a great night.

Diagnosed with Periarticular Hystiocystic Sarcoma Feb 14-13; Amputation March 18-13, and diagnosed with STS April-14. Tahoe touched so many people while visiting us, leaving a massive void in our lives. Always Missed, Never Forgotten!!
Well Tahoe, I think you covered all the bases with your Halloween good wishes!
Yeah, milestone adjustments...stink!! I know he'll be by your side though. Maybe not barking though because he'll have his mug full of candy...chocolatey, gooey candy!!
Love to all!
Sally and Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Stirling,
Oh yes, that "another milestone of emptiness", felt it very much at my house tonight as well.....this is the first year ever, that I did not answer the door for tricker-treaters, left it for my daughter to do.....I certainly do know what you are feeling. I think several of us discussed this topic in another forum not too long ago, this first year of heart-breaking, empty firsts......the holidays seem to be the worst.
Hoping each day will bring peace, the easing of pain and awful loneliness in your heart for sweet Tahoe, we all know that loneliness once our beloved Tripawds leave us.

HUGS!!! I know .. those / these milestones are really hard ...Halloween was never our thing but we've got Christmas coming up and it's going to be super hard. BUT, as a community, we will get through it!!!
Hugs and love

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Thanks Stirling, that is so sweet of you. Wyatt Ray did extra barking for Tahoe last night.
