Well, well, well..... look who is 3 today!?!? So happy to say goodbye to the "terrible twos" ... but honestly, she's not that terrible. She makes MUCH better choices 90% of the time vs her angel sister, Shelby. Oy!!! Shelby was definitely a handful until about 10!
But Jasper is a good little dog with lots of spirited personality and energy. I love her WAY more than I ever thought I would or could. She is the perfect little sidekick (yup, that's what we're going with since Shelby was and is "my best girl" and the "love of my life").
I am so thankful Shelby had her paws in sending Jasper to me so that we could both work through our walls and find a great love ... my mom remarked on our vacation how much Jasper really loves me and how it is obvious how much I love Jasper (so much my mom said, "I only wish you would / could share that much love with the people in your life". Not in reference to her; I love my mama so much but my mom knows my challenges with trusting people). But like we've all said here ...dogs love unconditionally ... they give what they get and then some and they never, ever judge. Well, Shelby was a judger but in the best possible way! 
So HAPPY made up BIRTHDAY little Jasper Lily! The whole world loves you so much and we are so happy you are here!!!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

I think Tripawds ought to start a "dating" site for you. You KNOW you could "trust" anyone here because it's already a given that they have a good heart and are genuinely compassionate! Hmmm...just sayin'!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Ahhhh... thank you ALL for the kind words and birthday wishes for little Jasper Lily! She celebrated by spending the day at doggy daycare and getting a mani/pedi (not as much fun for her as for me). Those dew claws of hers seem to grow super fast!!!
But honestly ... I am so happy to be able to remain a part of this amazing place ... guided always by the spirit of my best girl!
