Sally, you are a hoot. I do love that picture of you two meeting. That Frankie had a big sweet smile. The predicament that he has is that he is what they call a grower not a shower. I am so happy for your extended family.
Karma, Adelaide and the crew, and always our angel Brendol
Adelaide is a young tripawd Husky, from an injury. Her amp was on 10/1/12. She has 4 sisters, Aissa (a senior border collie/chow), Maggie May (a puppy Great Pyrenees), Mathilde and Morrigan and 1 baby brother, Bagheera. We are all watched over by our angel Brendol, who was dx with OSA 1/30/13, amp on 2/6/13, and left us on 8/20/13.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
"Grower not a shower"! Bhahahaha!
OMD you are all cracking me UP!
Sally that photo of you and Frankie is really super sweet. He knew his momma when he saw her.

I'm so glad I came here today! What a fun thread I love your new pup and the pic with the magnifying glass has me LOL'ing! I'm not good at naming animals so I'll leave that to the rest of you. Just wanted to add my congrats and thanks for the chuckles.
Hugs,
Amy & Spirit Libby
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
I have been giggling non-stop going through this thread!!!! It's a RIOT!!!!
Sally,
Frankie is just so cute and the pic of you two when you met is just priceless!!!
Yeah...some boy dogs' "appendages" are bigger than others. Lucian's "equipment" seems to be bigger at 8 months than both Leland's and Lucky's when they were full grown. We've not neutered Lucian but both Leland and Lucky were done at 6 months per the vet's recommendation. Perhaps when the hormones are removed through neutering the growth of that area slows down.... I would assume Frankie has been neutered since he came from a rescue but that won't curtail his molestation of Myrtle.... As a youngster Leland was all up in my step-daughter's Husky's stuff (and he was a male as well) and trying to hump him. I think that will subside with age (it did for Leland) but Myrtle is going to have her paws full till then...
Anyway, congrats on finally getting Frankie home and I LOVE the pics!!!! Keep em comin!!!!
Hugs
