I always love sharing in the joys of each of you when you get an undeniable sign from your Spirit Dogs! Street signs...dreams...pennies....dimes....shoes...baby green beans hatching...all specific to you and your beloved.
Today was one of those "out of the blue" crying waves of grief while driving. Each of you know that scenario all to well. I got in one of those somewhat "altered states of my soul" (for lack of a better description). I was pleading to Happy Hannah's Soul to PLEASE, PLEASE give me a sign...send me a true message...PLEASE!! I had a touch of serenity as I felt like, for the first time, she just might stop eating ice cream long enough to make her presene known.
At the Virginia Tripawds Pawty Elizabeth turned to me and said, "I just called Myrtle..Hannah...she is here with us!" Now, keep in mind that Elizabeth is the one who gave me that treasued slideshow of celebrating Happy Hannah's gloriously happy and well loved life! The song she used..."Somewhere Over the Ranbow"...with applause and cheering at the end as an exclamation point for a life that mattered.
Today, June 1, 2015 at approximately 4:15 a RAINBOW formed right over HAPPY HANNAH'S RAMP!!! I could touch it!!! I could walk through it's starting m point!! It was the tiniest rainbow I had ever seen and I had NEVER seen one so close to the ground I could touch it!! A RAINBOW SPECIFICALLY OVER HAPPY HANNAH'S RAMP!!!!!!!
Look closely at the first picture...see if you can see it...I PROMISE it's there!!
I posted another picture and tried to outline it. I know it's hard to see, but I swear to goD it is there...I saw it...I touched it..I walked throu Happy Hannah's energy field in the form of a rainbow!!!
Thank you for reading this.....it means a lot to be able to FINALLY share the connection I have been wanting sooooooo badly.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
Awww Sally, yes, we do know about those moments of sobbing grief that still catch us off guard.....and I couldn't be happier that Happy Hannah came to you with that rainbow. I do see it. I have to admit that Elizabeth wasn't the only one that called Merry Myrtle, Hannah.... I did the same thing but hoped you didn't hear me. Seems Hannah was busy last Sunday whispering in a few of our ears.....
I believe if we look too hard for signs, we miss the true, obvious ones that appear out of nowhere.....like rainbows, or dimes, or bean sprouts, or pennies, or something so silly like my Zuzu all of a sudden forgetting how to go up my back deck steps like Polly used to do....signs, signs, everywhere signs......

OMG ... i just got chills and goosebumps!!!! I love it! That is most definitely a sign. Hannah always sends GREAT BIG Signs!!! Remember the TV show with the clouds? She is with you - always!!!
I agree w/Bonnie ... we look so hard for signs we forget the ones that are right there all the time. Last night I woke up and felt someone/something on my pillow ... that was Shelby .... we always shared our pillow but last night, it was Jasper w/her head on my pillow like my Shelby ... that's why I say she 'channels her inner shelby'... something to remind me of my best girl. I quickly realized it was Jasper since those ears stick STRAIGHT up all the time... I don't get how she holds them up but I guess they are just meant to be up. LOL
I have heard the same thing about calling the new dog by the passed dog's name. I was on the phone w/my mom a couple weeks ago and I kept saying "shelby" when I meant Jasper... my mom said it was Shelby making her spirit known.
They are with us always ....

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
I saw it without you having to outline it. Tears running down my face right now. I knew she would send you a sign when you were ready & needing her. She had been with you the whole time. Sometimes in our grief we just don't see it until we are ready. She knew you needed her today. So there she was. 🙂

Our awesome Golden Boy was diagnosed for OSA in April 2014 in the proximal humerus, front-leg amp on 05/20/2014. Finished chemo (Carbo6) on 07/10/2014. Ongoing treatment: acupuncture + K-9 Immunity Plus ( 3chews) and home-cooked no-grain diet. Stopped Apocaps because of liver issues. Liver issues: controlling altered enzymes with SAM-e and Milk Thistle. October 17: started having seizures. Taking fenobarbital for seizures. April 18: started prednisone.

BONNIE! It's funny, at @ast year's pawty I kept saying Hannah's name too and kept calling Merry Myrtle Happy Hannah! I didn't do it before and didn't do it after! And to know you and Elisabeth were both calling Hannah's name too at this pawty.....love it!! She DEFINITELY was lresent!! And Zuzu "forgetting" how to go up the stairs...just like Polly??? Oh heah...signs, signs, everywhere a sign...

KATHI! It only took a year and six weeks (who's counting?) for Happy Hannah to send me a sigh! Hopefully Gus and Murphy will be a little more prompt! I do believe it is hard for them to get through to us through our grief sometimes. I ALWAYS took soooo much comfort in the "dream" (or not) of Happy Hannah visiting you in the kitchen! I think about that all the time. Thank you Kathi.
