Glad you got a head start on the herbs.

We'll be sending extra good vibes for your appointment  on the 20th.

No I haven't contacted Dr. Boyer.    When Sassy went through cancer she didn't have any ideas about Eastern medicine.  heartheartheart

Went and saw Dr. Jen our holistic vet/chiro.   She put Bosch on Stasis Breaker and Mushrooms plus the other herb she had started him on.  Said continue what we are doing.  She didn't think anything in the Apocaps would hurt what she put him on.  I wanted to make sure.

She will see how he is doing on Jan 2 with everything when he has his Chiro visit.    She told me her husband who is also a vet had put a dog with Osteo on Stasis Breaker, the Mushrooms and the other herb which I can't remember Qui something which made the Osteo tumor shrink and go into remission for about a year on this one dog before it came back and they had to amputate.  Now that being said we all know how this stinking C is.  And that was only for that one dog and not everyone's dog is going to have that result but I am willing to try anything to help Bosch.

She agreed with my decision of no surgery and to try to treat him this way with everything he has going on.  His age, arthritis etc.  Made me feel a little more validated in my decisions ( and you all help too)

Did you find out what type of cancer?  I ask because with mast cell there are some other meds that might help him like benadryl and pepcid.

I guess its really hard because when you stop & think about it my tie to Sassy.  As long as he is here so is she.  I know Be More Dog and live in the moment but right now my mind is going to what happens when he is gone

I wanted to share that this was really hard for me after Maggie passed and Tani was having issues.  They were sisters from different litters and together with me for 9 years.  Tani was a link to Maggie and the people who had brought the Pug Girls to me.  Even with all the health stuff the 'Pug Girls' years represent a special time for me. Sure, Obie came along, and now Elly, and I do practice my Be.More.Dog at every opportunity.

I know the Sassy & Bosch years are special for you.

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

Glad you had a productive  appointment  with Dr Jen.   And equally glad you got confirmation that the path you are taking  is a good one for Bosch on all levels.

Interesting that her husband had good results  with herbs for the dog with osteo.  Worth a try for anyone  who can't  amputate.

Thanks for sharing  Bosch's regime.  I know the Stasis Breaker pops up here off and on from members  who have had good results  with it.  I think Ingrid (Nixon) has used it, along with Turkey Tail.

Give that handsome frosty muzzle mug a big smooch for us.😚😚

Karen no definite diagnosis of the type.  I am assuming a mast cell but it feels almost attached to the bone.  I guess I don't want to put him under the anesthesia to do a biospy other than then looking at the aspirate and Dr. T telling us round cell I am guessing mast cells.

thanks everyone for understanding.  Trying my best to stay in the moment.  He is doing really well and not acting like in any pain so we have all that going for us.  🙂

Dr. Jen is a holistic hero! I've heard good things about Stasis Breaker so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will have great results for Bosch too.

He's got some great people looking out for him, I'm sure that whatever type of cancer this is, Team Bosch will kick its butt! He already is 🙂

Michelle,

I am really happy that Bosch ( I love that name ) is doing well. I have no doubt if there is a way to at least slow it down, you will do that.

Hang in there, you know that all of us and all of our Angels are cheering you on and supporting you in any / every way that we can.

Merry Christmas, and a Healthy and Prosperous New Year to you and all of your family.

heartheart

Hugs,
