Ok...I'm going to try this again. Hopefully the computer gods don't suck my post into a black hole never to be found again...lol.

As I was saying...it's been a while since I've posted. Things have just been hectic with work, the holidays, and taking more college courses to advance my pay at work.  I thought I'd share with everyone the fun Lucian had with the snow.  For those on the East coast the Blizzard of 2016 was not fun.  My area came in at 40 inches of snow....oh-my.  Needless to say it was not fun for me shoveling (hubby was out doing private contracted snow plow jobs).  All Lucian got was a spot opened up right outside the door and a little path to do his business.  The peeing wasn't a big deal but he held off pooping for 25 hours!!!  I guess once he figured this was all he was going to get he figured he'd do his business.

So apparently Lucian enjoys chasing/eating snowflakes. Neither Leland nor Lucky really cared much for the snow.  At least he gave me something to giggle and smile at while shoveling all that snow!!

I'm goin to get you snowflake!!

Mom...there's just so many snowflakes I don't know if I can catch them all!!

OK...I think I've seen enough snow!

OMD!!! Trying to catch snowflakes!!! Now that akes a lot of focus and a whole lot of optimism!! Good eye Lucian!! clap Absolutely precious! He's so darn cute with his snowflake catching fun!

Great photos!!! Really good action shots! And his captions are spot on!

Holy moly! 40 inches!!! Geez! I thought we jad it bad with 18 inches!! Shoveling snow is getting jarder and jarder for me, so the dogs have to pretty much make their own paths.

The bottom picture of him deciding he's at enough snow? Are you sure he's not thinking that's a mighty tasty sofa I'm sitting next too! Chewing up cushions is easier than catching snowflakes! And besides, he's really good at it!way-cool

Hugs, lpve and stay warm!!!!!!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Love these! We got 28 inches. Chandler just looks disgusted when he goes out, Daryl is not real concerned either way and Lucy LOVES it! Go figure, I fight tooth and nail to get her out to pee in the rain and she is begging to be let out with her tiny short legs in this stuff. My deck, where they usually go out has a four foot drift on it, so I cleaned off front porch and let them out in the driveway which is fairly clear now. There really must be something with the sound of rain instead of her not liking to get wet. I had read that and I totally believe it now. Stay warm all, Lori, Ty and Gang

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Lucian sure does look like he's having a ball!  Sorry for you guys getting all that snow and having to do all that clean up.  Here in WI if we've got 6 inches that's all.  Not that I'm complaining mind you.  Been a crazy winter here.  It was nice of you to order all that snow to keep Lucien "happy" though 😳

WOWWWWW! I'm so glad he had a blast, you can really tell in those photos!

We've been thinking about everyone out east and hoping you are all safe, warm and hoppy. Be careful out there!

He looks like he's having a blast!  My 3 all love it, and I swear Murphy runs better in the snow!  In Michigan we got nothing from this storm and just have a bit on the ground from the last one a week or so ago...it's stayed cold enough for it to stick around.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

It's good to hear an update from you! Nitro LOVES snow, and having 3 legs sure doesn't change that! Although how he would react to THAT much snow, I can't even guess. Keep the beautiful pics coming....I never get tired of looking at beautiful Dobes!

Paula and Nitro

Nitro 11 1/2  yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms.  Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
