Just curious what "job" you visualize your Angel, or Spiritual Being, doing at the Bridge. We know that all the Angels gather to greet mew arrivals and show them all the amenities the Bridge has to offer!
I actually visualize my Happy Hannah as one of the members of the "Welcome Wagon Team"! She has her cart full of every junk food imaginable! Each cart is customized for each new arrival, but they ALL include ice cream, M&Ms, cupcakes, and a scoop of deer poop
How 'bout your Angels? What's their job? Including pictures would be an extra bonus!

I always thought of Sassy as part of the welcoming committee too and also the party committee. She had many comforting things she did. She was pretty picky with her cookies though.

Odds are pretty good that Sassy and Hannah are side by side with Jerry. He was always quite the ladies man! Here he is with his gal pal Sami, painting the town in L.A.! I'm sure she's there too.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

Sassy's role is spot on! It's funny, when I wrote this I was thin about how gentle Sassy is a d how that would help at the Bridge. She definitely brings comfort AND "comfort food" while she gets the pawty going! I love the poem.
And Gus and Murphy....they OWN their jobs! Perfect! And what a glorious garden it is!

This is a great idea!!! Well Shelby was a spirited and playful girl so I know she's welcoming each new angel with an invitation to play!
I also know there is a beach over the bridge so I suspect Shelby is playing in the water with the angels and showing them how it's done! (she's to the left in this photo - both paws in the air)
And while Shelby maintains she has to be the best dressed of them all... she is definitely sharing her ample costume supply for each holiday!
But most of all... she greets every angel with the BIGGEST smile ... those floppy / velvety ears and snuggles ... and shows them the way. Shows them that all will be OK and how to send their humans plenty of signs ... from glitter, to pennies, to all coins!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

I think Daisy would be in charge of the Lay About Crew. Even before her amp her favorite activity was laying in the carport watching everyone go down the side walk. Most of my pictures of her she is laying around. Lol.

Sally, this is a great forum post...... I have often thought about this, wondering what all our beloved pups over the Bridge do while enjoying their happy and carefree days, and I can definitely see Hannah, Sassy, and Jerry heading up the welcoming committee, and Gus and Murphy heading up the water sports and gardening committee, and Shelby handing all the costume designs, but thinking about my own girls, Duchess would be joining Gus and Murphy helping them out, Maggie would absolutely be with Hannah, Sassy, and Jerry, but my sweet Polly would be in charge of helping newbys acclimate to life over the Bridge, and counsel them when they are missing their beloved humans at first........ Polly was a bit of an introvert with other dogs, but she loved humans, and with her kind and gentle soul, she will be great with one-on-one loving guidance for all those pups that need to know that their humans will be okay without them for awhile, and also teaching them how to send signs that they are thinking about their humans and also watching over them. I have gotten so many signs from my girl this past year, I know she herself, has mastered this and will be of great help to all the newbys having a difficult time adjusting at first. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🐾😎

Shelby is definitely a great multi task Angel and very proficient in each of her roles!
Daisy rhough, leading the "Lay about Crew"...didn't see that coming"...until I saw all the pictures and remembered that was her "signature style". BINGO! Nailed it Marla!
So glad ro get more insight into Maggie and Duchess by knowing what their roles are. Of course gentle Polly is a perfect "Counselor for New Angels"! And, along with Shelby, showing the newbies the art of sending messages and signs...sweeeet!

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
