Alison, I knew you would especially appreciate this. I bought this goose yesterday! It actually had no stuffing. This is what is left. I am a bit concerned that I cant find all of the squeaker. I was in the room with her, just busy doing office work. I assume it will pass. She wound up eating those fleece things I made fro her, had to take them away too. At least she did not appear to have a big bunch of stuff in her stomach when she was x-rayed for bladder stones last week. he did mention that her Liver is a bit small, anybody know what that could be or cause. Worried Mommy here! BTW, I am putting adoption app. in mail today. I got to remembering the reservations I had with getting my Ty Guy. I would have missed out on so much. Hey, maybe I need 2 more, for those of you in my age group, this is my brother Daryl and this is my other brother Daryl! LOL laughing

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

OMG !! I almost missed this!! LOVE it... Lucy... your ears! You look so proud... I can see where she is definitely a curvaceous girl. :-) :-) 🙂

I didn't get the reference to Daryl and Daryl... but I say the more the merrier....

Do you really think she ate the squeaker? And she eats the fleece? I don't think Jasper is eating the toys but I do know that I got home from the gym this am and for the first time she had gotten into the bathroom trash (Shelby loved to do that too) and I only found 1/2 of a toilet paper cardboard roll. I can only assume she consumed the other 1/2 since her breakfast was delayed to post-workout.... Oy.... Kids!!!

Much love,

Alison with the Spirit of Shelby fur-ever in her heart (and little Jasper too)

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Oh Amy

Lucy's picture made me smile :)   I love her ears and the angelic look on her face!!!

My big goof Tuck has a whole bin of babies - and they are all perfectly intact!  He will eat sticks and dirt - and ate stones as a puppy - but his babies are sacred.

Looking forward to updates on your application!

Hugs

Linda and Tucker

PS.  Try not to worry about her liver......

PPS. and I definitely got the reference to the "Darryls" :)

Alison , you are too young to remember the Bob Newhart show. There were these goofy guys on there that would always say this is Daryl and this is my other brother Daryl. You would have to see it too not think I am a lunatic. Was just a funny thing from about 30 or so years ago. Yes, I am thinking she may have eaten some of the squeaker. She has poop issues with the new antibiotic she is on for her bladder, so hopefully that will speed that little piece of plastic right on out. Application and pictures went into mail today. It is what it is! We will see. Curvaceous is a very nice term, she is FAT! She weighs 33 lbs. we are working on that. Her ears probably weigh 5 lbs of that. LOL At least Jasper only ate the tube. My guys have been known to eat toilet paper( that was used as tissues) and paper towels.

Oh Jasper eats paper towels... I eat dinner at the coffee table sometimes and if I get up and leave the paper towel there, it's destroyed. Shelby was known for shredding used tissues from the bathroom too. I don't get it. I think Jasper just likes to shred stuff, paper, toys, my socks! She is such a chewer - everything goes in her mouth and she is 100% NOT teething! LOL

Poor Lucy... those ears are hilarious!!! 33 pounds is pretty chunky for a little dog so low to the ground ... :-) her face is precious though.

Congrats on sending the application! Can't wait to hear!!! Fingers crossed for the outcome that you want! XO

Lol...I  remember Darryl and his other brother Daryl, Lori and Sally! Too funny!

Lori, I'm sooo happy you're putting the app in. Yay!

Lucy is just adorable. And her ears remind me of Jasper, too. Hopefully she's none the worse for wear given her toy eating enthusiasm.

Milo is definitely toy OCD. He takes them up to 'their' room, slowly dismembers them, and then puts them in a pile under the desk by his dog bed. We have way too many toy exoskeletons up there to count.

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
