…to think things through and commit to a plan doesn't it? One hop at a time as we like to say around here.

Remind me: do you have Cerenia, Entyce or other anti-nausea and appetite stimulant meds on hand, just in case? Would be good to ask about if not.

I hope your day is wonderful and the

Keep up with the Entyce and a thing yummy she'll eat. The Bet can try and appet stimulant of the Entyc isn't  helping.

Thanks for the update.  We're cheering for Genie

…on sunny days (she hates cloudy weather..more so now). Her veterinarian has given a refill on gabapentin and it has helped her. She was also on entyce for a few days to increase her appetite. I am hoping she continues to get better and become her active self.

Thanks

…time around.

How long ago did the symptoms start? And what did the vet prescribe to help? If you haven't received an appetite stimulant like Entyce, and an anti-nausea medication like Cerenia, now's the time to get one. You can help her diarrhea clear up with edible green clay
, it works

…there are remedies! Your vet should provide you with "just in case" medications like Cerenia to help ease any possible nausea, and something like Entyce to stimulate his appetite if he doesn't want to eat.

Remember, fear and worrying doesn't solve anything, it's useless energy. Instead, focus

…didn't really eat for two months. He had to be on Entyce for quite a while after it went on so long. No problems like that with Czar. With meatballs and cheese, he's taking his meds. He did eat dinner.

…t want to jinx anything, but I think Riot is pretty much back to being a normal eater ( for him). He had chemo last Thursday, and needed a dose of Entyce two days later when he refused all food. That got him going again. He hadn't needed a dose for almost three weeks before that. I don't have to do

…the top of his foot, where it never really touches anything. I'm not too worried yet. Hopefully it's nothing. He has only had to get one dose of Entyce post chemo. He isn't eating a lot, so we're trying to get some extra calories in with stew and chicken.

riotfromma - thank you for your reply regarding Entyce, and I am glad that it worked for your boy!  I will keep this medicine in my notes if her eating does not improve.

…Riot's a looker. I hope you're holding up okay.

Yes. Eating struggles are so rough. He did end up eating kibble last night, so he's spared any Entyce today. He has to go around 36 hours of no eating before I do it. His pain pills require him to have eaten.

…have not tried Entyce. I always used mirtazapine for Mitchell. It is a simple pill... put it in a pocket and wait a half hour, lol. Now.. it does not last for more

…you all very much. I'm sure he hates the Entyce. I have to wrap his head in a towel so he doesn't bite the syringe, it tastes horrible, and he gets sick for 1-3 hours. He did eat without it last

If she comtinues not to eat, ask your Bet to give her an appetite  stimulant.  One member is having good luck with Entyce.

…round of chemo. He finally had some reserves, as he was finally eating. I forgot to mention. He's eaten dinner the last three days with no Entyce! I'm hoping we can keep this going until the last chemo round. I'm sure we'll backslide a bit there.

…you, both! He's not feeling great right now, but that's normal for him. I'll give him the Entyce tomorrow.

Thank you for getting me the bandana so quickly! For the lovely note as well. I'll have him wear it for half birthday pictures.

And eating without his entyce? YAY!!

RIOT, YOU CONTINUE  TO BE A ROCKSTAR!!😎

…see them. I was so worried by this point, that I'd be dragging him into the office. Or we'd have given up all together on chemo. We're halving his Entyce dose, as he ate the last two days without it. He turns 12 1/2 on Sunday!
