Rusty "The Bunnyman" adopted us in 2014.Β Aug/Sept 2017, back left leg amputated (HSA cancer).Β He remained cancer free over 900 days. Cancer returned as of emergency visit on day 931. 15 days later, he gained his wings 04/18/2020 due to congestive heart failure.Β He will always watch over his fellow tripawds and their hoomins with Head Scritches and Sand Paper Kisses.
Gina, you know that the bestest BunnyMan in the world is always on our minds in one way or another! π We will definitely keep Mr Rusty in our prayers! The universe is massive, it can hold a ton of prayers and the BunnyManβs are out there!
We will be looking forward to hearing about all of BunnyMansβ clear results in a couple of weeks!
Thanks for keeping us updated Gina.Β
We all send massive hugs to you and sandpaper kisses for sure, to My BunnyMan!
Petra, Stewie and his Quiet KittensΒ
Rusty the Bunnyman is on the calendar for extra prayers more so on the 24th at 8:30 we will all go with you in spirit!
Remember the Mantra ok?
Which scratcher did Rusty figure out worked best for him? I remember you saying you were buying him a new one? Did he find he had one that worked better for him after his amp?
Clear checkup Rusty - Ice cream & tuna celebrations are coming!
Thanks!
Scratchers:
After the extensive search, he let me know that, Momma, I just want to be normal and use the ones I had already been using!!
The flat cardboard ones, although we have upgraded to the wider one.Β It is low to the ground so there is no climbing to get on and he can really pull with his front legs.Β
Sample of XL Wide Corrugate Scratcher
and he likes this one too.
Penn Plax Cat Life Catch & Scratch Scratching Pad
He does also use this one that is off the ground. (Stock photo, not a make over for him )

Thanks for sharing! This will answer someone else's question one day! Β I remembered the convo, but we never heard what the solution was.
The corrugated cardboard is always a hit! Rusty said enough already changed Mom I'm still the same cat on 3 as I was on 4 I just needed time to figure out how this new body on 3 worked & he did!
Stay pawsitive, give Rusty a chin scratch from us, please!Β
Gina and Rusty!Β
So good to hear from you, even better to know you are all doing pawsome! The 24th is going to come and go and Bunnyman is going to rawk it! You, Nick, and Rusty will be in my prayers even tho this will be easy peasy! I love the scratcher! We have rope entwined in our ginormous kitty perch and they all go buck wild with it. I did find a toy, however, that since the day I unwrapped it has been played with by each and sometimes teams, every day since I got it.. and it was cheep!
We got this on Jan 17th, and they STILL love it!Cat Toy!Β <-- there's the link π
Gonna hafta find some pawsome bells to ring for the 24thΒ
Big hugs and much love,
Jackie and HuckleberryΒ
Hugs,
Jackie, Bo, Andy, Oscar, Phoebe, and the coolest feral tripawd kitty Huckleberry
Hey Gina And RustyΒ
I got my calender alert for tomorrowWe are thinking of you and will be going with you tomorrow 8:30 A.M.
All clear report Rusty ok! Tell them not to go clipper crazy π
Breathe thru it Gina & remember the mantra! We are saying it here too!
This calls for ice cream or tuna remember;) Or if you have a Starbucks get a Purrpuccino Sally renamed it special for kitties;) Just whip cream as usual just tastes. Saxton would eat it all if I let him and we would have a sick Saxton. Purrkins is usually drugged too so he only licks a taste.
Let us know how it goes please!π
Hugs!
Thank you!
Praying here!!
