No cat could be more loved. The care you are giving Jolie is truly the absolute best he could jave. Many would not even be avle to do the amputation surgery itself much less the extensive "do whatever it takes" follow up treatments, hospital stays, etc. Just know that, okay?
In the very beginning the Vets said they "susppected" the crap disease had spread to the lungs and the liver. Wondering if any of that was ever confirmed. If so, wonder if that could be causing some of the issues....the liver maybe. moreso than the lungs.
We are here with you. We know you will alwaus do what's best for Jolie. She knows that too.
I'm glad he's home and I know he is too. Good that he ate too!

OH my gosh! I'm so sorry about his current condition, just getting caught up here. YIKES! This was so unexpected! At least you are getting him the care he needs to get through this time. Sounds like you have such great vet care for him. Now that he's eating, drinking, and urinating, those are all good signs. Has he pooped yet?
We are all sending tons of love and pawsitivity, and hope that he makes improvement in the coming days. Stay strong and know that you are an amazing parent to Jolie. What a very lucky kitty to have you.
Depending on your personality, this may be too much info, but I'm sharing it in case you find something helpful here. I would inquire today if this new drug is available there - VARENZIN-CA1 & if it would be beneficial for Jolie.

Whoo Hoo, Jolie! Excellent, we love improvements!!! I hope you are seeing improvements at home too. And the missing stitch? Ok or restich?
Keep it up, Jolie. We will continue to send positive healing energy your way. Good on darbepoetin.
Scratches to the kitties, please.

So happy to read this update. The power of being home with you definitely has healing energy! Bummer he had to re-stitch with staples. Did he numb the area or did he actually have to lightly sedate?
Celebrate the fact that he is eating and that his blood pressure is lowering and his blood count is rising. Very encouraging!!

Brilliant to hear !!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 !I pray the numbers keep climbing. He is getting closer to in range.👏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻 I am sure they will want more follow-ups and labs. I hope you discussed the powder in his food and a different type. There are many binders, some more tolerable, some a lot less in volume, like one capsule. It's worth the discussion with the vet, and Kidney kitties tend to be nauseated; adding an antinausea med might make all the difference in Jolie's appetite.
Ditto Sally,
