Three Paw is doing brilliantly on her two paws. Running about the house and even on the stairs in the garden. Climbing the ramp to my bed. Eating well. Purring like a race car. Using her toilet like a boss. I cannot believe how well she is doing and I hope anyone who worries about amputating just one limb will see that even with two limbs animals can thrive.

At this stage she shows no signs of metastasis although the vet seemed fairly confident it will eventually appear. I give her Palladia lite ( my own regime based on how I think she is going) combined with mushroom therapy and other herbs. So far so good. The most important thing for me is that she seems happy and well which she does very much right now.

I am just happy to see her enjoying these months.

thank you everyone for all your love and support..please do share her story because if she can help just one person with the decision of amputation then I would be delighted...honestly I had friends come to visit the other day and they were stunned at how she just moves with ease around the house..she is a such a happy kitty now without that nasty tumour.

To be honest I am a little lost as to the actual diagnosis with her because it was all in Italian and a little vague as well..not osteosarcoma though but a soft tissue sarcoma I believe. She had metastasis in one regional lymph node which they cut out at amputation. They didn't see any further evidence of mets at that stage, which isn't to say it won't happen, but at this stage she is an agile, joyful animal who loves her food, her freedom and her hugs. I give her Palladia but not regimentally. My focus is on herbs and in particular one called Micofive and another called lifegold -cancer. I think these herbs are doing remarkable work on her. 

I just want people to understand that amputation doesn't take lives, it saves lives, and even more than that it can enhance them as well.
