It’s Thanksgiving today in the U.S., when we take a day off to give thanks for all that we have. And you, dear Tripawds Community, are at the top of our list.
There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude for all of the kindness and genuine emotional support members of this community share with one another in the Tripawds Support Circle. And of course, the generous Tripawds Foundation donations, too!
Each and every day, you restore our faith in humanity, and show us the light in each and every pet parent who joins us.
Thanksgiving Has Extra Meaning Here at Tripawds Headquarters
On a day filled with fortunate feasts and football games galore, we give an extra toast to our fearless founder Jerry.
For it was on Thanksgiving Day way back in 2006 that Tripawds community founder Jerry G. Dawg hopped out of the hospital on three legs.
On that six hour drive home from the hospital, we skipped the turkey and trimmings. Instead, the three of us snuggled on the couch in a quiet celebration of gratitude that our Chief Fun Officer was on the mend.
Little did we know that our world was about to change dramatically! Jerry’s two year journey on three legs would not only inspire this community, but teach thousands of people to Be More Dog when faced with any tough situation.
Thank you Jerry. Thank you Tripawds Nation.
