How old is your Tripawd?

When and why did your Tripawd lose a leg?
My foster Sadie was saved twice, once from Turkey a few years ago and then from a local rescue that unfortunately is in the process of being shut down due to animal hoarding and abuse.
While she gets around well without her front leg, Sadie needs to find a home where she can enjoy the back yard and short walks. Looking for a wonderful match for her forever home!
How did your Tripawd adapt to life on three?
She has adapted well, as she still tries to use the remaining portion of her leg when she is scratching the ground. Her main goal in life seems to please her people 🥹
What are your Tripawd’s favorite things to do?
Lay in the grass, scratch her back on the carpet/bed/grass, play mouthies with my dog, run for short sprints in the yard, sit and watch the world go by 🐾
What is the biggest lesson you learned from your Tripawd so far?
That she is quite fast and doesn’t let anything hold her back!
What is your best advice to someone who is about to go through amputation with their pet, or someone who is thinking of adopting a Tripawd?
They are just like any other dog and will thrive once you bond with them. Sadie’s goal in life is just to be loved and played with 🙂
