My 6 month old pup may need an amputation or some sort of surgery on her hind leg. Any referrals are greatly appreciated!
Hi there, welcome. I hope your pup doesn't but if so, you may want to have the fine folks at NC State look at him. They are orthopedic experts and if your pup is a candidate for a prosthetic, they are the team you want to work with. You would have to get a referral from your primary vet.
If the university isn't an option I would go to the AAHA Hospital locator and find an accredited AAHA hospital with ortho specialists listed.
I'm sure others will have input too. Good luck and let us know what you find out!
