I took in my brothers one year old puggle after he was in a car accident and damaged his radial nerve that has not recovered.  It has been 3 months now and seems like I have to consider amputating his leg.  I live in New York City, can someone please recommend a vet that can do the surgery at a reasonable cost?

Hi there!  I am in NYC as well...I'm not sure about "reasonably priced" but Jill had her amputation done at Lincoln square vets by dr Jane Kosovsky and she did a phenomenal job.  Jill's oncologist is at animal medical center and I know they have terrific surgeons as well, but I think they might be pricier.  Hope this helps!

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013.
