Hi all, my little buddy Max went a little too hard last week and ended up with an overuse injury in one of this front elbows. He's missing his right rear leg from an accident that happened before I adopted him. The vet recommended taking him to rehab to prevent future problems but they're very expensive and things are pretty tight for me. I'm wondering if there are low cost or sliding scale rehabs nearby. I love him very much and just want him to be happy as long as possible.
Hi Max and family, welcome. I'm so sorry he's hurting right now. It's super smart of your vet to recommend rehab! Yes it can be expensive, especially where you live. A good rehab therapy clinic will work within your financial ability to cover the cost. Did you meet with anyone or just call around? What were you quoted?
So, yeah we know it's not cheap. The costs of rehab is why the Tripawds Foundation can pay for your first rehab visit , up to $200. Please take advantage of the program, we'd love to help. Also, where in Los Angeles are you located? I'm happy to look for a good clinic near you.
