If anyone is in need of a great specialist facility in the Atlanta area, Georgia Veterinary Specialists is the place to go.  They are on Abernathy Road, near Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.  They have specialists in everything.  We've seen an oncologist (Dr. Hamiliton) and a surgeon (Dr. Julie Duvall), and both are fantastic.  Everyone from the front desk personnel to the technicians to the doctors have been so professional, and yet so compassionate.  They tell you exactly what they recommend, and exactly how much it will cost before they do anything.  It's also a 24/7 emergency facility.  I would highly recommend GVS to anyone in need of their services.  They have a number of acres behind their building that have trails with benches, so if your pet is up to a walk you can take them out there.  Their website is:  http://www.gvsvet.com

Jane, thanks for taking the time to do this. I know that there will be others who are helped tremendously by your great feedback about GVS!
