Dr. Tom Walker is the surgeon who worked on Leland. Dr. Walker is with d.c. vets and he goes to various clinics performing surgeries...he even goes out to California. Leland's amputation was done in Purcellville, VA at Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates. Dr. Walker has been doing this for over 40 years and according to his bio he's not only a vet but an educator as well. Dr. Walker was great with us while going through the trying time with Leland's failed TPLO and ultimately the amputation. He called us regularly to report on Leland's progress and once Leland came home he called to check to see how he was doing. He even allowed us to call his cell phone with any questions and always called us back if he didn't answer right away. I'm so glad Dr. Walker was suggested to us by our local vet clinic because he was the best hands Leland could be in.
