Hello everybody!

Two weeks ago when we were out in the woods paintballing, we came across a dog stuck in a small game trap.  We adopted him and paid for his surgery, but since it was on the weekend, it was a bit pricey.  We'd still really like to get a harness for him to assist him in walking, but we don't really have the money for it right now.  If anybody has an extra, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Thanks from our new buddy tripawd, Tripod!

Hi guys, how is Tripod doing?

It will help to know what his girth size is, as most harnesses are sized using this measurement. The girth is the measurement around his body at the widest part of his rib cage. His weight is also useful to know.

He's doing great!  He pulled out a few staples on day 10 post op :(  so he had to have a few sutures done.  That was the only setback though.

Because of the new sutures, he's on extended kennel rest, but we've found fun ways to cheat, such as blocking off two rooms and letting him chill with us :)

Since he was a stray when we found him, he's also having to recover from severe lack of food, but he's learning to eat slower.  He's putting on some weight and gets along well with our other doggies.  He's a huge sweetheart. We let him learn how to go up stairs yesterday since he was 14 days post op, but we're still taking it slow since he has the sutures.  He hates taking it slow!

I'm going on a bunny trail here though, sorry. :)  we last weighed him 4 days ago and he was 50 pounds.  We anticipate him gaining a bit more since we can still see his ribs.  His girth is 28 inches.

After doing more research, it looks like he needs a medium.
