Hi everyone,
I thought Crystal was getting used to the hardwood floors but she just had an extremely hard fall that scared the bejesus out of me. I've already added a few rugs to our house but covering the entire floor is not feasible. Does anyone have a pair (or rather a pair + 1) of large boots? The width of her remaining front paw is just under 3 inches. We would be forever grateful. Thanks!

Hi again,
I just measured Crystal's paws according to the guidelines and my intuitions about her paw size are completely off. According to the Ruff Wear size guidelines, her front paw is between a small and a medium and her back paws are between an XS and a small. I find this incredibly hard to believe given that she is a 60 lb dog but I've now measured at least 4 times. Her paws are very long and narrow though and the guidelines were based only on the width of her paw. Does anyone know how the paw's length factors into sizing?

Nope, you are likely not wrong. The Ruffwear boots are sized pretty small in most folks' minds. My Dakota is about 80 pounds and has what I consider normal big-dog feet and he's a medium.

We've changed the title to indicate Crystal's need for smaller boots. Ruff Wear does sell single boots, and for longer feet the Skyliner Boots might work better at they have an elastic top. You also might consider the cost effective PAWz or Power Paws Traction Socks.

I'll sell you some "small" Muttluks we have laying around here! They were my mean tripawd sister's.
Here's the original listing (ignore the part that says they are FREE - you're dealing with me now and they may be considered vintage since it's been a year!):
Trouble's Grip Tex boots are in the mail to Crystal today. Hope they do the trick.
