Hi Everyone.

I'm in the Austin metro area.  My tripawd boy passed away last Friday.  I have two large strollers to give away - one has the hard plastic wheels but easily transports in the car.  It has a torn zipper, but it's still functional for getting around on paved roads or sidewalks, etc.  It's not the smoothest to push but it works.

The second stroller is a three-wheeler for paved roads or crushed granite trails - bicycle style inflatable tires.  It's still in great shape.  The wheels and innertubes were replaced during the pandemic - any bike shop can repair this type of stroller & you can usually gets parts on Amazon and then take to a bike shop for repair if the shop doesn't carry the parts.  It's a great stroller...walks were my pup's favorite thing every day.  He could hop around here & there to potty and sniff things, but for longer rides - he hung out the front of the stroller and took in the sights and the smells of other dogs, rabbits, squirrels, etc.

I can send you pics or you can come by to see the strollers to determine if one or both will work for your pup.

I can be reached at this email address.

Thanks,

Gretchen

Gretchen we are so sorry for your loss. Our deepest condolences to you and the pack. It's so kindhearted and generous of you to think of us at a time like this.

I love the memories you shared about how he used the dog strollers . This is why we love them for Tripawds. They really open up their world don't they?

About how big was your dog? That usually determines the size of the stroller.

We would love to learn more about him. What a sweet picture. Feel free to post in Coping with Loss so we can celebrate his life with you.

If you'd like to post photos here, this is how adding images works. If you want help adding them just let me know.

P.S. I hid your email address so it's not exposed and waiting for evil spammers to grab it. 🙂

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for your response and for your suggestion to post about my sweet boy, Trooper, on the Coping With Loss forum. It's been a tough time for me emotionally this past week.  So, it might help for me to share his story - and some pics, etc.

I'd love to give these to a tripawd family in the Austin metro area or Central TX - shipping isn't going to be easy or worth it. Trooper was roughly 42-45 lbs.  I bought large strollers that would handle an even heavier dog - just wanted to be sure he had plenty of space to get in/out of the strollers - and enough room to turn himself around in the stroller so he could face forward during our walks, etc.

Thanks for the idea to post pics of the strollers - see below.  Please reach out if any questions.

Thanks for doing the pics, and sharing more about Trooper. He was so loved! We would enjoy getting to know your life together so whenever you are ready we will be here.

I will share on social media so you have more prospects. Many people join us from central Texas so hopefully one will see this and respond.

Hi again,

The strollers were picked up this evening by someone who saw my ad on Craigslist - not a tripawd family, but that's okay.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to post here to try to get them to a tripawd family.  Lots of love to all of your tripawd peeps!
