Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.

This is going to be so much fun! If you go to the PuppyUp walk website (link at the beginning of this forum), you can "join" the team and create a personal page with a picture of your Tripawd or angel. (No one has to of course. . .)

Michelle! It would be sooo awesome if you could come!! I'm getting excited to meet everyone! I've been a little MIA here on the boards lately. After Ollie went to the bridge so soon after losing Max I've been having a really hard time. Finding it hard to get past all that and back into the land of living. I think it will do me good to be with people who understand that grief takes time to work through. This is going to be so much fun!

It's wonderful that you'll be going to the "family gathering"! Happy Hannah and Snoops planned meeting when their humans were driving through Vieginia. Sadly she transitioned before. We still met and, although bittersweet, it was very healing znd heartwarming to be with Snoop (who was whipping that crap's butt) and his family. Esther and her hubby then came to the Virginia lawty the following year (Snoop had crossed over) and they found it very healing also. And trust me on this, you WILL feel Max'x and Ollie's presence!
All who jave had their pups transition, bring their pictures for some group photos around the Tribute Leash! They'll be wwatching from the Bridge
This is going to be such a great ggathering on so many levels! Cannot wait to see pictures!! And Michelle is coming too?? WOW! Impressive group of peeps and dogs and Angels!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

Definitely Michelle! Or Paula can get a room and I can get a room and you can spend half a night with each of us! 😂😂. As soon as we know if you can go we'll figure it all out. Whatever you're most comfortable with is fine with us. We just want you to be able to be there. Mini vacations are so much fun.

Awe thanks Sally for you being you! I think because Ollie required so much care those last few months I'm just somewhat at a loss with what to do with myself. Between Max and Ollie the last 8 to 10 months were crazy taking care of furfaces 24/7 so it's just left a huge void. I think this get together is just what I need. I so wish you were closer and could also come too! Still got extra room 😉😉.

I don't mind roomies. I just didn't want to intrude. 🙂 I will let everyone know as soon as I find out. I will ask my boss on Monday or Tuesday since Mondays are really bad in the call center but I did request it in our time off schedule.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17
