I'm all for getting together in North Carolina! That's probably the furthest I could go this year. I've had some tough financial issues this year, and now I'm saving all extra cash for a new furry family member that should be here in September big-grin. But I could make a day trip to like Charlotte or something? Raleigh is about 4 hours away and a bit far for just a day trip. But if anyone is interested let me know! Even if we just get together at a dog park or something for the day it'd be fun!

The strike is over and life is getting back to normal slowly.  I am game for a trip to Charlotte but not sure if I can do anything before August unless it was a weekday.  I have Monday and Tuesday off.

Hi Kate! Welcome to Tripawds! We're so glad you joined and hope that our East Coast family can get a pawty going. Do tell us about your own pup in another Forum, we can't wait to hear more.

Yay! I'm glad there's more Tripawd parents in SC!! I'd love to get some of us together, even if it's just for like a one day meet up or something. Anyone interested in planning this? (my planning skills are sub par lol)

So out of curiosity I just called our local Camp Bow Wow (Greenville, SC) and they are starting to branch out and host third party events!! The lady that I spoke to said they've only hosted one before and are willing to do it again because it went well. She said they only ask for a small percentage of the admission fee to pay for the worker to open and close the building, so she said it wouldn't be very expensive. I was also thinking, it's very close to Upstate Vet Specialists and the Animal Rehab and Conditioning Center with Dr. Kennedy, so maybe we could have her and maybe even a doctor from UVS come speak to us? Thoughts? Idea's? There are also tons of dog friendly businesses and places nearby that I'm sure would be willing to donate some things for a raffle to benefit the Tripawds Foundation too. Let me know what you guys think, Rene, your opinion would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

Cassie I love that idea! Thanks for taking the initiative to call them and find out. Who knows, maybe this is something that Tripawds can do at Camp Bow Wows across the country. Love it! Is there information you can send to me? PM me and we'll talk. Thanks again!

Greenville, SC isn't too far to drive for us so if you were able to organize it, I would love to go.  I wish I could help organize but I'm spread too thin right now.
