Darcy is going to be celebrating her 7th Birthday in a couple of weeks and as you will understand, this is a miracle as far as we are concerned 
The party will be held in Heaton Park, Manchester (UK) on Sunday 5th April and as well as celebrating Darcy's 7th Birthday, our main aim is to raise funds forThe Greyhound Health and Wellness Program at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Although the word greyhound is in the title, the research carried out as part of the wellness programme will of course help other dogs as well as greyhounds. I am going to specify that the funds raised by Darcys event go specifically to the oncology department (I have been told that I can specify this)

I contacted OSU to inform them of our forthcoming fundraising and I have a letter back from them (in PDF format) which I can email to anyone who wants to see it.
We have set up a paypal address for anyone who wishes to make a donation (and so far, we have raised about £350 UK pounds). Please PM me if you want the paypal address 
Back to the actual party 
If you would like to come, please PM me for details of the exact time, exact venue. We will be there, having our party whatever the weather because as we all know, osteo doesn't stop for the weather. We will ask for a donation of your choice if you want to attend and hopefully, someone from this forum WILL be able to come and help Darcy spread the word about osteo and raise awareness about it and raise much needed funding to stamp the evil (beeeeeeep) out for good.
All people and dogs welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead at the event. You may want to bring a human picnic (and dog water and bowl) and Darcy will be providing treats for her doggie guests
