Calling all Chicago area tripawds... we are gathering at the Montrose dog Beach on Sunday, June 24th at 9:30am. Sorry for the late notice - I haven't had a chance to post in awhile. We'll meet just down from the gate... look for Holly in a lime green life vest - she will probably be worrying about Zuzu going into the water. 
So far it sounds like Ginger and Spirit Tate's sister Sam will be there, along with Holly Jolly and Zuzu. Spirit ChiliDawg's peeps and pack might make it, too.
It sounds like there will be another pawty on July 15th, so if you can't make this Sunday please pencil us in for July!
Holly joined the world of tripawds on 12/29/2009. She has a big little sister, Zuzu, who idolizes Holly and tries to make all of her toys into tripawds in Holly's honor. And she's enjoying life one hop at a time!

Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.
We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.
We just discovered that the Gay Pride parade starts at Montrose and Broadway Sunday morning, so meeting at Montrose Beach won't work as the parking will be horrific. We're trying to see if we can move the outing... Will post more once I have more information.
