I'm in Austin! But I might be moving to Lubbock next month. =( Even so, if I've got enough warning I could probably visit anyways! Lizzie says she loves meeting new peoples, and she's never met another tripawd before!
Proud mommy of a Belgian Malinois tripawd named Lizzie, who is completely spoiled rotten, loves kids, and will be going into therapy dog training as soon as I can afford it. You can find her blog here.
Also proud mommy to Vito, 3(?) yr old GSD. Adoption weight: 58lbs. Current weight: 90lbs. Goal weight: 85-90lbs (ACHIEVED!). Tested positive for EPI on March 30th, 2011 and stable ever since.

We just arrived in TX today! It's good to be back.
I'd love to get a Tripawds pawty together. We'll have to think of a good halfway point between Orange, where Spirit Trouble's folks are, and Austin. Any thoughts people?

Well according to the map that'd be Houston. But Houston is a HUGE city and newbies might get lost. =( Maybe one of the outlying town, like Spring?
I guess you're not gonna be going to that other town? Darn, that would've been much closer for me.

In looking at the map, I was going to suggest Spring/Woodlands area too.
What weekend are you looking at?
We will be in Gonzales and staying through Christmas. Any location is fine by us I think. Pick a couple of weekends and we'll throw it out there to see which ones work for folks.

What about this upcoming weekend? I don't think I've got anything going on, and I really wanna see you guys before I move. Sunday would be better than Saturday, since I still need to get a few last things fixed on my car, but if you guys come up here I can show you the best place on the planet to get sub sandwiches, you won't be disappointed!

Let's give it a little more time so we can announce it and get more in attendance. How about Sunday 11/20?

Unfortunately that's my moving day. =( I might just make a special trip this weekend to visit you guys and then once I'm moved we'll see about coming to one of your pawtys.

Oh drats! We would love to meet up informally then. Anything halfway between Gonzales and Austin?

Uhm....Lockhart looks about half-way. I've never been there though so I don't know if they have any parks or anything.

Oh yaaay! Here's the scoop:
Meet this Saturdday, 12/12 at Noon, at the San Marcos Dog Park
"Located behind the Army Reserve bldg on East Hopkins and is easier to access if you park on Charles Austin Drive(Walgreens and Texas State Stadium). If you use the parking lot behind the Public Library you have quite a walk to get to this dog park."
Most Tripawds pawties don't last more than 2 hours (they tire out pretty easily). Look for the insane GSD who sounds like this:
