I agree but I want Sally there 🙂 I keep saying I am going to see her and last year was a fluke I didn't get to and then surgery for dogs this year. I am going to be there come hell or high water LOL
I know May and probably over Memorial Day just have to verify the place.

Sally ~ I laugh because everyone gets Paula & I mixed up all the time! And we tend to do the same things on the same days, or answer things the same way when people ask questions ... we joke that it's like we're twins or sisters separated 
I'm supposed to work Memorial Day, but hopefully will be able to someone to switch with me for 4th of July or maybe just work it for me. And of course, we'd love to drive & bring Murphy.

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17 Â

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Omay, we know it's going to be MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND.
But WHERE???
It's so thrilling because we have Michelle, Paula, Linda, Alison, Murphy (apparently Donna can't come, but we're hoping Murphy can) coming from as far away as California, Iowa, Wisconsin, etc. Elizabeth, Cheryl, Deb and many more from the Virginia group.
Trying to get locations "somewhat" close to airports AND a location that can give some of our out of towners some touristy things to do!!!
Charlottesville, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Richmond?????? All have some touristy stuff and are "somewhat" close to airports (Richmond, Charlottesville, Norfolk).
Then we need to make sure we have pet friendly hotels or B&B available.
We also have Cassie and Karma in the South Carolina/Georgia group, but I know Virginia is not a good location from them. Trying to figure out how maybe we could have two pawties simultaneously???
I'm not doing a very good job of keeping this simple! I'm trying to keep things within an hour of an airport, as well as within an hour of some touristy stuff, as well as pet friendly areas, hotels, etc.
It does appear that Charlottesville or Yorktown could fit the bill. And Alison, they're close to wine vineyards!

Witch state will it be? Im interested too if not too far, Im in Quebec, Canada, but I travelled as far as Georgia several time for the USDDN world disc dog championship, so...im good with driving 🙂
