Well, we had our 2nd Southern Alberta Tripawd get together today in Calgary at the Nose Hill Park. Roxy and Fred were there again, and they were joined by big boy Hank! Roxy (1 and a half year old) and Fred (2 and a half year old) both lost their right hind leg to an injury, however, Mr. Hank (8 years old) lost his right front leg to bone cancer. So we are up to three in our group now...hopefully we will be adding a couple of more the next time around

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Wow! This is just so cool. Three Tripawds = one lucky number! But I do hope that the group grows and grows. I can' help you with publicity if you want, I'm happy to write a press release and send it to local papers.

This was so awesome! It had been a while since I had gotten out to meet with people with same interest than me. Thanks to Freddy's mom for organizing it. Hank was super happy. I know he's not the fastest but he loves being a part of something plus little sister Lucy had a great time. Hank must have found every puddle of water in the park too!

I would love some help getting the word out...is there any type of flyer or anything similar that you may have? I would love to go into each of the vet clinics in and around my area and give it out with my name and phone number. Anything you suggest I'm sure will be very helpful

Also, if you'd like to come up with a list of newspapers, TV stations and locally-focused websites in your area I'm happy to draft up a press release and send it out to them. Most events calendars will require at least 3 weeks notice but TV stations only a few days, so if you're planning something and you have a date in mind that's a good way to get the word out.

Sure thing. The logo is nice work but please keep in mind that we want to make sure that people are aware that we're all with the same organization. So if you'd like to utilize a logo with Tripawds.com imagery and start an official Tripawds Alberta chapter, PM me and we can come up with everything you need to get you up and running like the Tripawds UK chapter. Take a look at their logo we created and you'll see what I mean. I think it would be awesome to have an official chapter in Alberta!

Logo's and such are a passion of mine...I designed my whole website myself and have been in love with designing ever since. I have been pretty crafty all of my life...it really is a gift I am already working on a Pawty flyer...I will be sure to pass it along to you for approval
