Farley will be participating in the Yale vaccine trial; his first vaccine dose will be on the 26th followed by a second vaccine on March 19th
Hopefully this vaccine will give Farley more time
I'm lucky that there is a participating clinic relatively close to where I live (about 30" drive)
Farley is still doing nosework and enjoying it immensely; also when the weather permits, we take him on a short walk (he decides when he's done) in the woods

Hi! My 10-year-old greyhound Indio got his first Yale vaccine one week ago today at the Partner Urgent Care Clinic in Richmond, Va. He has osteosarcoma, had a limb amputation in November after a double bone fracture at the tumor site, has lung metastasis as well as multiple tumors all over his body (including his remaining front leg). We've tried basically everything - both conventional and alternative. We are crossing our fingers. He still has quality of life and wants to live. Please keep us in your prayers.
If there is anyone else out there with a doggie suffering from osteosarcoma, please be aware of the study being done at this clinic. It is open to all dogs with several different types of cancer and they have no wait list at the moment.
