That's what my Bizkit's bruising looked like, although hers was less.  It's nice that your vet will accept pictures via text, ours did too.  So handy. Our vet also recommended taking pics and then comparing in case we were worried about swelling.

Yeah! I’m glad they were able to check it out via email and not a whole visit.

Fortunately, the bruising has improved a lot since I posted and recovery seems to be going well in all other aspects! Her follow up is this Friday for stitch removal!

Super news about the bruising clearing up! Can you share a photo so we can see before and after? I'd love to do a blog post about it if that's ok.

Three is the magic number!

I'm inspired to do a blog post about this, the difference is incredible Thanks for sharing!

Yes it is! It’s even better today. Almost no red and a lot of the area is a very faint yellow now. Please let me know when the blog is up! I would love to read it eventually.

I haven’t been on here much the last month to provide any updates, but I wanted to give one today!

Willow has recovered so well from surgery. Her wound is almost all closed up and her fur has really come in from where they shaved her. She’s off of all of her meds and doesn’t seem to be in any pain/discomfort at all. She uses the bathroom well all the time and eats every meal.

I am so grateful to have found this group as you’ve all really helped through the time before and after surgery and I will provide life updates as we go on 🙂

Give her some extra smooches for us.  Good job all around!👏
