OH MY GOSH!! My jaw dropped open as soon as I saw those photos!! I'M TELLING THE TRUTH.......MY JAW DROPPED ANDI MOUTHED "OH MY GOSH". Jessica, that first photo is sooooooo sweet and she's sooooo beautiful----really, really beautiful!! She just exudes love and gentleness. Such a lovely soul. She just reaches out through the computer and jumps straight I to your hert:-)
And no one better get her toy! Ya' know, I think k if some doggy came up and asked to play with her toy....she'd push it right over towards them......maybe?
She just looks like a cuddle bug who just wants to snuggle all the time!
SOOOOO glad you shared these. Really brightened my day! I'm serious, it did!! I'm bursting with pride and she's not even my dog!! Well, we are all one family.
Oh yeah not only do we both live in Virginia , but one of Happy Hannah's favorite toys is......yep....you guessed it!! A duck!! Her duck spent the night with her when she was recovering from surgery
Hope things are DUCKY for you and Athens today and everyday. We are such a qucky group!! Tee hee!
Thanks gain, Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
Geez, our third chemo which was scheduled for today had to be postponed for low WBC. It was not low enough to need antibiotics this time, at least. The plan is to change her schedule to every 4 weeks instead of every 3 weeks. I am hoping for a cancellation in the onco's schedule next week because he's booked and I don't want to delay her treatment by 2 weeks. Her bone marrow just isn't tolerating it very well at all, but outwardly she's still feeling good and hasn't slowed down.

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Sounds like Lili! 2nd and 3rd were both postponed. We're between 3rd and 4th right now, and had an unexpected visit with the specialist due to some pretty serious side effects this week - nausea, sluggishness, just generally not feeling like herself.
The 4th treatment is two weeks from now, but I'm giving serious thought to whether we want to continue. Sounds like Athena is doing well other than the numbers, but Lili is so run down and blah lately. Just want our spunky girl back.
Awe....Athena. I'm sorry Jess, I know that must be frustrating, but Erica is right, that means its working. And from what I've read here it's not uncommon at all so try not to worry too much.
I just had to look at her pictures again....what a beautiful girl! Atlas says Woof Woof!

Yeah, repeating the It's working mantra"! Would be interested to throw it. out in one of the survey questioms------"How many dogs had chemo delayed due to WBC.....and how many times?
Glad Atjea's feeling great ad clearly not worried about any stupid numbers! The delay should help clear up the WBC..
Gosh, hard t belief she's on number three already. C GRATULATIOMS to the Lovely Athena
