Hi everyone,
I wanted to post this link so that we can keep an eye on how the trials are going.
http://www.ecob.....trials.htm
I know most of our furry babies are diagnosed with bone cancer, which they are not trialling dogs with bone cancer yet, but thought it might be of intererst to someone on the forum. The report said that they are not taking dogs with bone cancer on the first round of trials but may later on.
The drug was found in a plant in Australia and developed by a scientist in the CSIRO. So far they have had great success, but it doesn't say overall how many animals they have tried it on and then how many it has worked for and how many it hasn't.
There are other stories on the Internet and a Current Affairs show here in Australia did a story on it which tells you more about it.

Hi Storm and Koda
Wow. That is incredible. I watched the video link. I sure wish Tazzie lived down under and they'd take patients with bone cancer. His subQ mets are just begging to have some sort of treatment like an injected drug because they are so visible, pushing up under the skin. Getting rid of 100% of a tumor in 5 days?!?
I would imagine human cancer patients will get pretty desperate if this story bears up. It is hard to believe it will - but the people having dogs that appear to be cured are sure fortunate.

Thnaks for the great info!
