Hi Anne, so sorry Tango and you are going through this experience but all will be better. I'm just getting on board here and wonder .. is Tango a rear amp or front ? My Maggie is a front amp and that happened on 3/22 of this year. Hope all is going well and prayers to you and he as the healing will take place. I promise you.

Hooray for a good vet check and double hooray for burgers. Hope Tango has a restful weekend. Once the stitches our out, you just have to rebuild his stamina, and then he'll be ready to rock and roll! And hop. (But not like a rabbit.)
Your niece and nephew sound very cute.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. We both woke up feeling pretty low today, Tango was very lethargic last night and early this morning, and I was fretting about whether I've done the right thing.
Then we went outside, where he hopped around like a puppy, tried to chase a cat, and made it back up the stairs under his own steam for the first time. He practically tried to high-five me when he made it to the top.
Dogs: smarter than people every time.
Haha! Ain't that the truth!
It's all part of that rollercoaster, but the ride will end soon and you'll have an E Ticket to FUN once again 🙂 Hope today is just as hoppy for you both.

Hooray for Tango! Glad he's doing well and showing signs of spunk!
