I'm so very sorry to read about your sweet Romeo. You know he's running (full sprint) circles around everyone at the Bridge.

Peace to you and your pack.

Oh, I am so so so sorry to hear Romeo is gone ...

This is such a horrible, unforgiving disease ...

The only control we have over it is to keep giving our babies a wonderful time whilst they are here and then help them depart peacefully when the moment comes.

It is just the way it is, sweetie ...

Nothing you or me could do to keep them by our side.

But I tell you what.

You LOVED Romeo to bits and pampered him like a Prince, he was the happiest of dagws heart

And fear not, you will meet again superstar

He truly lives in your heart and is right there by your side every second of every day, you can be sure of that.

Sending you a really tight hug, sweetie, look up at the sky tonight, Romeu and Eurydice are there shining their marvellous, beautiful, peaceful light over both of us heart

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

And the Rainbow Bridge just received another beautiful Spirit to welcome back home. With all the new arrivals recently, the Welcome Wagon has been overflowing non-stop with specific goodies and toys that each dog or cat loves.

Romeo had a wagon awaiting him with his name on it in gold letters and it was overflowing with toys and treats! So even though those last few days in his earth clothes he didn't want toys or treats....weeell....he's making up for it now!!

Make no mistake about it Romeo will continue to inspire anyone here starting this journey! He flourished on three legs and lived life to the fullest. He KNEW how much you loved him. He knew when he told you he was ready to be released from his failing body you loved him enough to give him that gift.

When caring for Rome, and loving and spoiling him n ways that you never thought possibe, and then to nit have him physically with you HURTS!! The void seems unbearable. It's hard ro remember the thousands of happy memories you and Romeo shared. Slowly but surely though, the void lessens a d the happy times come to the forefront. Romeo was soooo lucky to have you as his the human who would show him what joy and love felt like. And yes, you were quite lucky to have such a beautiful Soul in your life so YOU coukd also know what this type of joy and special love felt like!

When you can, we would love to hear more abput Romeo AND see some of his beautiful pictures. His avatar picture shows such a gentle and sweet Soul behind those kind eyes.

Sending you @ove and hugs
