I'm not sure, but Stella Blue may have set a record! So how long has it veen since she
??
Is it a good record? 🙂 Last was Tuesday morning before surgery, made it to Monday night (late! After Mel came home from darts league).
I hate to go back to work tomorrow! I'll be worried the whole time... but I know we've been lucky that we have time to be home with her. She came home Wednesday night, Mel had Thurs and Fri 'off' after being laid off. We were all home over the weekend. Very good news that an old boss was happy to have him back, so he returned to a former job yesterday. I was able to stay home Mon and Tues...
Sigh, I don't want to leave her! Poor girl is in a different stage... Sunday was the best day. She's bothered by the incision. I know it's just another stage, and it will pass! She's doing well, we just have to get over this hump.
Yup, that sounds like a record alrighty 🥇
Eurydice pooped 5 days after surgery but Stella took 6 days, she gets the 🏆💩
Great your husband found another job too!
When are her stitches coming out?
Lots and lots of hugs and cuddles flying your way 😘😘😘🐮💫✨🌟🌹
Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
Stitches and staples scheduled to come out next Tues the 12th.
Haha, not sure we want to hold that record! It was about six days and eighteen hours (I think... Tuesday around 5am to Monday about 11pm) if we're counting! But, no matter... she's back to proper digestive balance... and maybe someone else in the future can feel reassured by her long wait!
