Just going to let everyone know that my 1 week old pup Spirit had a successful operation! My vet did a fantastic job on his stitches and he should heal in no time. Once he starts growing I will start working on his story and the blog.

Great news! Did you bring him home already or did you see him at the vet?
Keep us posted on his progress, I think he is the youngest to have surgery. I'm looking forward to watching him grow.

I was able to bring him home same day, and the youngest I was able to fine was 15 weeks. I'm also excited to see him grow! It will be quite the journey for him and I.

Bless his little heart!

Jist curious...is he on pain meds? What in the world would the pain dose be for a five day old puppy anyway?

Is he back with his mom nursing? How is she reacting? Is she trying to lick the wound? How many stitches sis this tiny baby have?

Really, really hoping things turn ojt wel for this little guy!

Hugs and best wishes.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Congrats to spirit!

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.
